About Elado Osuobeni
Biography
Elado was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to the family of Professor Chief Ebi Osuobeni and Lady Millie Osuobeni. He spent his early years growing up in Saudi Arabia, frequently visiting his extended family in Nigeria.
In 1999, his family moved to the United Kingdom, settling in the historic university city of Cambridge. Elado continued his education there, finishing his schooling at The Perse School. From there, he spent a semester at the University of St Andrews studying courses in Theology, before he matriculated at the University of Oxford.
At Oxford, Elado read the world-famous Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) degree. He specialised in African Politics, Political Economy, and International Relations. In his final year, he presented his thesis, ‘Things Hold Together: Federal and Consociational Policies on Ethnic Conflict in Nigeria’.
